WHAT WE DO
We all know that Pilates helps release tension and pain, reeducates movement patterns and develops a balanced body that is toned, flexible and strong. It specifically targets the abdominal muscles in every exercise, reprogramming the body to initiate all movements from a strong center. Pilates work simultaneously lengthens and strengthens your muscles, which in turn decompresses your joints and spine leading to improved health and vigor. All of these aspects are great benefits of doing Pilates and you will certainly experience these at our studio.

Located in Old Town Fort Collins, we offer classes for all levels of experience from your first class to advanced mastery. We are a fully equipped studio offering a variety of appointment and class times. We offer many types of sessions including individual, small group, mat, equipment, and specialty classes. Founded in 2000, the Pilates Fitness Studio offers the finest in classical and cutting edge Pilates instruction and equipment. We are located at 210 East Oak Street, right off the NE corner of Oak and Remington. There is lots of great parking on the street! Jeff Woodman received his initial training from the late Romana Kryzanowska, the heir to the classical tradition of Joseph Pilates, continued his study with Amy Taylor Alpers and Rachel Taylor Segel, and received his comprehensive teaching certification from the world-renowned Pilates Center of Boulder, Colorado in 1994. In 2017 Jeff was certified by Trent McEntire, creator of The Arcus Bar, to teach its syllabus of over 60 exercises. Through his study and teaching of the Pilates method of contrology over the last 20 years Jeff continues to discover the depth and beauty of the wonderful work that Joseph Pilates created for all of us. The focus of Jeff’s teaching is to use his expertise and creativity to help clients build strength and tone muscles for renewed flexibility, function, and vitality.

Gary co-founded the Pilates Center of Fort Collins in 1992, a graduate of The Pilates Center in Boulder and a certified Pilates teacher through the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA-CPT) and author of the award-winning book The Pilates Path to Health: Body, Mind, and Spirit. Gary was one of the selected Pilates teachers to be featured in the first mainstream Pilates movie, “A Movement of Movement”. He apprenticed for 18 months with, and is a protégé of, Wendy Leblanc-Arbuckle, an industry leader in progressive new thought, internationally recognized and sought after as a Pilates Teacher of Teachers. Gary brings her body of work (as represented on the chart that hangs in the studio) “3Core Connections Embodied Perspective”
